The vault is fantastic. I am not a dedicated coffee drinker so the coffee beans may sit in the vault for two - three weeks before I refresh the coffee beans. The coffee beans remain fresh the whole time!!
The double lid system really does it work.

The Paradiso whole bean blend has replaced my former go-to morning roast from a small, high-end roastery in North Carolina. The flavor and the pallet are smooth, balanced, and clean. I begin my mornings by freshly grinding the whole beans and preparing my cup of coffee via pour over (two level tablespoons of fresh grounds for a 10 ounce cup). This lends an incredibly smooth and balanced cup of coffee that I enjoy black. This blend is very comparable to my former go-to blend and it brings me great joy to support the Carmelite ministry of the brothers in Wyoming. May they evermore taste and see the graces, mercies, and steadfast love of Christ our Lord each and every day.

We are very happy with our first order from the Mystic Monks. We had been ordering from another Catholic coffee company for years. We love them, but gradually their grind became full of fine powder and they could not fix it. So we finally needed to find a new provider. We learned about Mystic Monk on our local Catholic radio.

This is a robust brew with no excess bitterness. Perfect grind for drip. Negligible powder. And I am speaking of their Midnight Vigils AND their Vespers decaf. We brew them 50/50 and individually. Both are excellent.

We have found our new Catholic coffee.

I'm in my 60s and have never found an appropriate decaf substitute for my morning coffee. I finally tried Vespers decaf and it's fabulous on its own, no need to mix it with regular coffee. I'm sorry I waited so long to give it a try! This is now my daily morning drink!

Jingle Bell Java is delicious. The flavoring level is perfect. Some flavored coffees are too strong and leave a weird, artificial taste in your mouth, but not this. This is my first purchase with Mystic Monk and I will certainly be buying more. I'm just waiting for the other flavored coffees to come back in stock (please hurry!). And I especially appreciate that there is a Catholic connection, which is the only reason I tried it in the first place.
