Our Breakfast Blend is versatile: It’s a morning coffee you can drink black because of its balanced flavor and clean feel, so it stands up on its own and is a favorite among coffee purists. But you can also add a touch of milk or cream if you want a smoother or milder cup.
Breakfast Blend Ground Coffee
We prefer to use a universal grind for all our beans. After roasting in our monastery and letting the beans cool, we grind them in batches to create the most consistent results.
We do this so you can brew your morning coffee using any machine — including a French press, drip machines, a Moka pot, or pour-over coffee — to enjoy a consistent flavor.
When packaging the beans, we use a low-oxygen seal to ensure your ground breakfast blend coffee is fresh and flavorful when it arrives. This special seal also helps the ground coffee stay fresh for longer. You can expect fresh coffee up to two weeks after opening the bag.
Breakfast Blend Whole Bean Coffee
You can also purchase our Mystic Monk Breakfast Blend as whole beans if you like to grind the beans before brewing. Due to their medium roast, the beans have a cinnamon color, and there aren’t as many coffee oils on the surface as in dark-roast blends.
When you open your bag, you’ll notice a nutty, chocolatey aroma and a hint of citrus. The beans will stay fresh for about two weeks after opening. Because we use a sealing process that removes oxygen from the bag, you’ll also get a burst or aroma every time you open your bag to make coffee.
