Opened the box and the smell was amazing. Taste was great too! Will make great gifts.

Was not disappointed, as a matter of fact the quality of the mug was over and above my expectations. The coffee [Midnight Vigils] was also some of the best I’ve ever had.

Mystic Monk Blend 5lb

I like a darker roast and drink mine mostly black, while my wife likes a medium roast and has cream and sugar. This blend is nice for us both. I get the beans and do a Puerto Rican grind (my wife is Puerto Rican), which is a fine grind (almost like cinnamon texture) that brings out the strength of whichever coffee we get.
I started my monthly subscription with Mystic Monk with the flavor of the month, ground. I have switched to the coffee of the month and whole bean with an ad hoc additional bag here and there.

One of my favorite things about Mystic Monk coffee is that I am supporting a Catholic agency/business with my daily consumption of coffee. Where I spend my discretionary money is very important to us, and we can "kill two birds with one stone" (idiom) and have a mutual benefit.

The Cowboy Blend just feels western (by name) and is one of my favorites. I will continue to purchase this in addition to trying the other blends and flavors.

I purchase Dad's Coffee for the Men in my family for Father's Day.
It makes them feel Special and it's always a home run.

The comments say its unflavored, but the various hints of red wine, chocolate, and that surprising blackberry after-taste makes it a great choice for the first cup of the morning. I use cream and sugar, and as others have stated, it tastes like caramel but not too strongly! Try a cup, and then try another to make sure you aren't dreaming!

It took me awhile to adjust to this coffee, but it has become a go to choice. My husband is also always complimenting it.

Being a lifelong chocolate fan, I can’t imagine waiting all day until after dinner to savor this lovely brew….when one can simply start the day with it! Of course it would be grand for after dinner as well. It’s delightful.

Drinking decaf is tough. Monks decaf with the dark flavor and great taste is a rare and good decaf.

There’s something unmistakably prayerful about it. You can taste the silence, the discipline, the care. It’s the kind of cup that slows you down & draws you into the present moment. This is holy work & I am very grateful for it!

I loved the Coffee of the Month Subscription! It allows me to try different coffees and have a new adventure monthly. I may just find other favorites this way.
