A lot smaller than what I’d expected for the price

It’s charming, but the idea of two handles appealed to me as an indication of a PRACTICAL necessity for a big, manly, high volume coffee drinker. Instead, this average sized mug doesn’t really justify one handle, let alone two…another case of “Image” taking precedence over “Substance”, sadly.

Excellent quality

This mug is easily one of the most visually appealing and qualitatively appealing I've ever purchased. Excellent volume capacity at 16 oz. Excellent paint/glaze job and heat retention. Also, the double-handled style is a very calming and ergonomic way to enjoy my morning bean juice. The only thing to maybe know before buying is the bottom is kind of unfinished (scratchy like dry clay/ceramic), so if you place it on something like a nicely finished end table, it might have the potential of scratching it. So make sure to use a coaster if that is your situation. I, for one, am not bothered by this though.

Wonderful mug!

Heavy, solid, nice blue color. Doesn't get hot to fhe touch in fhe microwave and I love fhe double handles. My new favorite coffee mug. Thanks!

Ambidextrous handle choice

I am left handed so I carry the mug with my left hand. My chair is to the left of my end table where I put my coffee on a coaster. With one handle I have to spin my mug so I can reach the handle to grab with my right hand. Some times this causes spillage. With too handles I am good to go, no spilling. The capacity let’s me pour a large cup of coffee (520g) for those of you that measure their pour over coffee. The thick ceramic of this mug makes it heavy and keeps the contents warm. The brim is thick and takes a little practice on how to drink without dripping down the sides but when you consider that this mug can be used for hot food AND coffee it’s a fair trade off. Two handed eating or drinking is always an option and will keep your hands warm. It sat on my shelf as this odd coffee mug for a while until I came to terms with it. Now it’s my go to mug and I want a second one for when the other is in the dishwasher.
