I am not a regular coffee drinker however I love the ritual of coffee, mostly the aroma, and when I drink it, coffee is the dessert to a fine meal. I look for no bitter after taste with a smooth and rich blend of warm flavors. The Ethiopian coffee is smooth. No or low acidity, no aftertaste that lingers, but not robust, leaning g towards a milder or lighter flavor blend. It is pleasant. I'm no conosseur of coffee but for enjoyment sake I'd give it a 4 out if 5 for easy and enjoyable completion to a fine meal, breakfast or dinner, easy on the palette, digestion and tummy.
Being a lifelong chocolate fan, I can’t imagine waiting all day until after dinner to savor this lovely brew….when one can simply start the day with it! Of course it would be grand for after dinner as well. It’s delightful.
Drinking decaf is tough. Monks decaf with the dark flavor and great taste is a rare and good decaf.
There’s something unmistakably prayerful about it. You can taste the silence, the discipline, the care. It’s the kind of cup that slows you down & draws you into the present moment. This is holy work & I am very grateful for it!
