Judges’ notes
As espresso, reviewed October 2026
“Evaluated as espresso. Rich, enveloping and quietly complex. Dark chocolate, caramel, roasted hazelnut, black cherry and clove in aroma and small cup. Full, syrupy mouthfeel; resonant finish with dark chocolate, caramel and clove notes. In cappuccino format, chocolate and caramel notes deepen into a chocolate-fudge sweetness, complemented by roasted hazelnut and a delicate suggestion of baking spice.” — Kenneth Davids, Coffee Review, October 2026 Full review

Our Thanksgiving Blend received a 92 point score as a brewed coffee and a 93 point score as an espresso, by coffee expert Kenneth Davids!
This year's Thanksgiving Blend is composed of five unique coffees: two different Ethiopian beans, two complementary Brazilian beans, and a deeply aromatic Sumatran bean. It has tones of dark chocolate and malt and notes of dark cherry and wild honey. It is excellent black, and sweetens a little with cream.
