This coffee earned an outstanding 94 point review from coffee expert Kenneth Davids! Here is what he said:
Cocoa-toned, fruity and floral. Cocoa nib, apricot, orange blossom, oak, almond in aroma and cup. Bright, citrusy acidity; vibrant, silky-smooth mouthfeel. Finish centers around notes of cocoa nib and apricot. (Kenneth Davids, Coffee Review, July 2025), at www.coffeereview.com.
Grown at over 7200ft, the Yirgacheffe Idido comes from some of the highest elevation coffee farms in Ethiopia. This particular offering is a Grade 1 natural processed arabica bean, meaning the coffee cherry is dried in the sun before the hard coffee bean is removed.
Roasted light to draw out all of the wonderful flavors of this sought after bean, the Idido is fresh and light, with bright notes of lime and lemony citrus, a delicate hint of passionfruit, and a clean, fruit-forward finish. We recommend enjoying this delightful roast black to fully enjoy all of the natural flavor of the bean.
