Ethiopia Super Yirgacheffe: Bronze Medal at the Global Coffee Awards, US & Canada 2025!
This amazing bean received the outstanding Bronze Medal award from the Global Coffee Association in the Experimental Processing category. Here is what the panel of expert judges had to say about it:
"Peach, black grape and black-tea notes with milk-chocolate sweetness. Lively acidity and tang reminiscent of fruit yoghurt. Perfume finish adds elegance."
The Ethiopia Super Yirgacheffe likewise received an excellent 94 point review from coffee expert Kenneth Davids. Here is what he said:

This Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is processed using a unique "super" natural anaerobic process, where the fresh coffee cherries are sealed into carbon fiber drums for several days, causing a natural fermentation of the coffee fruit and making the sugars and natural fruity flavors of the cherry penetrate deep into the hard coffee bean center.
When roasted delicately and deftly, this Ethiopian explodes into profound stone fruit, jammy and floral tones. Unbelievably, it tastes like a fine Yirgacheffe coffee except with a magnified intensity of flavor. If you didn't know this coffee was unflavored, you might be tempted to think someone added a little fruit or jasmine essence to the brew!
