Zambia AAA/AA

Last batch just roasted!  Limited number of bags available.

This rare coffee received an excellent 90pt rating from coffee expert, Kenneth Davids!  Here is what he had to say:

"Richly sweet, roast-toned. Dried black cherry, vanilla, singed mesquite, baker’s chocolate, nutmeg in aroma and cup. Bittersweet structure with round, gentle acidity; velvety mouthfeel. The resonant finish leads with notes of black cherry and nutmeg in the short, rounding to vanilla-toned chocolate in the long, all supported by an inviting undercurrent of smoky aromatic wood notes." - Kenneth Davids, July 2018, Coffeereview.com

Our first coffee from Zambia, this fine non-flavored coffee is a daring medium roast that's full of character. Initially there is a full bodied, syrupy mouth feel, with expressive tones of lilac, tamarind and dark chocolate.  The aftertaste is pleasingly sweet, with notes of black cherry and raw honey.

A great tasting coffee.

This coffee has a very smooth blend. Some roasted coffees can be bitter but this blend is perfect! It is very pleasant to drink.

Great tasting and smooth coffee

Excellent coffee with no bitter flavor. The only down side is that I might be drinking way more coffee.

This is a keeper. I just made my 2d pot added just a little more coffee than usual and got a superb cup of black coffee. Tastes was a butterscotch choclate with a touch of vanilla. A soft non bitter blend of all the things that coffee should be.
