Refined and complex the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe starts with quiet acidity and blossoms into clean and enticing blueberry and floral notes. The gentle mouthfeel glides into the honey and chocolate inspired aftertaste. A near flawless coffee to enjoy cup after exhilarating cup!
This is a flavorful and smooth coffee, the description on line is spot on. I will reorder while it's still available. I would also like to have this available year around.
This is my favorite flavor of all the Mystic Monk coffee offerings. I'm happy to support them, and happy to get great coffee in return. I do wish, though, they would modify their coffee-of-the-month strategy and just sell their best varieties year-round. Next time this one comes up, I'll buy enough to last a while.
Rather bland coffee. The ethiopian fair trade coffee has a much better taste. I will not buy again.
Although I cannot pronounce the last word, the flavor is wonderful. The coffee as it runs into the taste buds and down the throat is calming. I find the delicacy of the aroma is followed by the amazing lingering taste.
I've tried so many flavors these past few years and every one of them has been delicious and memorable, this Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is no different. You really do taste the blueberry but in a overwhelming or over powering way. I was seriously impressed. Fingers crossed you bring back a peaberry coffee!!
loved it and all your coffees!!!!
The flavor profile is complex. It starts with a hint of sweetness, which transitions to a somewhat grassy, earthy bloom. As it finishes a hint of cocoa can be tasted and the slight sweetness returns. As the cup cools the sweetness is intensified with a somewhat woody finish wrapped in that same sweetness. I've tried most of the "big names" and yours if definitely the best among the roasters I've tried. I always reserve that fifth star for an absolute run away coffee.
I fell in love with the choc-Cherry and have not tried. Will respond when tried. Stan
Light but full body has an earthy quality to it for me
Fresh, mellow and not bitter. It has just a well balanced flavor. I like it!
Another excellent, gutsy roast with deep, rich flavor. At a great price, too, in the world of specialty coffees. Love it!
Fresh, light but still full bodied without any acid bite. Quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Very unique set of flavors, fantastic!
It is so sweetly aromatic, medium-semi dark coffee taste. It's great for my evenings with hazelnut creme chocolates.
It really IS the best coffee ever roasted. You can't go wrong with the blueberry and chocolate notes. I can't wait until you roast it once a year. Please roast it more often.
This is such a smooth coffee! Definitely my favorite!
