Ethiopia Yirgacheffe

This fine coffee just received an excellent 91 point review from coffee expert, Kenneth Davids!  Here is what he said:

Richly spice-toned, chocolaty. Dark chocolate, peppercorn medley, dried persimmon, gardenia, singed oak in aroma and cup. Sweet-toned structure with mild acidity; satiny, surprisingly full mouthfeel. Crisp, cocoa-laden finish with gardenia and persimmon as supporting undertones. Coffeereview.com, February 2019.

Refined and complex the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe starts with quiet acidity and blossoms into clean and enticing blueberry and floral notes.  The gentle mouthfeel glides into the honey and chocolate inspired aftertaste.  A near flawless coffee to enjoy cup after exhilarating cup!

It was ok

The was the first Mystic Monk coffee I didn't at least really like, and I think it's because the mild acidity seemed more prominent than I like. By contrast, I love Burundi and Papua New Guinea Peaberry, and like Ethiopian pretty well. I may have an underdeveloped palate or be making it incorrectly. I still love Mystic Monk coffee in general!

Mild Flavor

I did like the new Ethiopia Mrgacheffe coffee. The subtle flavors make for an excellent cup of coffee.
