This fine coffee received an excellent 91 point review from coffee expert, Kenneth Davids. Here is what he said:
"Deeply sweet, spice-toned. Vanilla, white peppercorn, date, moist pipe tobacco, almond in aroma and cup. Sweet-toned in structure with gentle acidity; crisp, satiny mouthfeel. The gently drying finish consolidates to notes of almond and white peppercorn." - Kenneth Davids, May 2018, Coffeereview.com
Delicate and gentle our medium-roast Burundi coffee offers outstanding depth and complexity with each sip. The initial toffee and berry tones expand into exquisite chamomile flower and honeydew melon notes. The aftertaste is impressively sweet with dark chocolate and honeysuckle elements throughout.

Really enjoyed the Burundi. It’s everything I like in a coffee variety.
This is a very mild flavored easy drinking cup of coffee. Not really my cup of tea but I can fully understand a lot of coffee drinkers loving it. I just preferred a little bit more in your face flavor.
The 91 point rating is an understatement. Great flavor, smooth finish, no bitterness!
Pleasantly surprising with a buoyant personality. Not a run-of-the-mill grind. Pax Christi to our monks and the people of Burundi!
Just had the opportunity to try the Burundi coffee as I order a large variety of coffees from Mystic Monk. Burundi is a medium blend yet the taste is not overpowering, some hints of chocolate and vanilla yet not a flavored coffee. The taste is great. Mystic Monk coffees are wonderful, they are at their best when you have a really good coffee maker as well.
