    Like a fine wine, it gives off a Heavenly nose!

    As it brews, and when you consume it, its distinctive odor is irresistible. I am a confirmed consumer of smooth, dark roast coffee -- always consumed black -- but when the true pecan flavor of this coffee hits my palate, followed by notes of rum, I'm all in. This coffee is also smooth and dark, but it also is complex and lucious!

    A fragrant aroma

    The Royal Rum Pecan has a beautiful aroma that pleasantly fills the kitchen and tastes how it smells. I admit, I tend to be skeptical with coffee that comes with a name such as this, yet Royal Rum Pecan is becoming one of my favorites.

    Lenten rescue!

    My wife and I gave up all meats, alcohol, sweets, soda, etc. for Lent......ALL of Lent to include Feast Days. So we're sitting around the fire pit with family who are enjoying their pork ribs and other "forbidden" food/drinks, basically feeling the Lenten struggle. So I decide to brew the Royal Rum Pecan coffee we just received to try and relieve the suffering. When I came back to the fire with the mugs, everyone had to pass them around to smell them, even the non-coffee drinkers. Long story short---------Mystic Monks came to the rescue once again!......I even went so far as to say my all-time favorite (Hazelnut) may have some competition with this Royal Rum Pecan. It has a buttery smoothness that I think gets overlooked. Definitely going to keep this one as a regular order! Hope everyone is having a fruitful Lenten Season.

    How is Royal Rum Pecan Flavored Coffee Made?

    As with all Mystic Monk Coffee flavored coffee blends, we start with our signature high-quality Arabica coffee beans, which are given a mild-medium roast to bring out their natural flavor notes.

    Once our freshly roasted beans are cooled, we use our proprietary flavoring process in two ways:

    • For our whole bean stock, we add an even coating of gourmet pecan and rum-flavored oils.
    • For our ground coffee, we add in the flavors with the beans after they are ground.
