This rare coffee received an excellent 90pt rating from coffee expert, Kenneth Davids! Here is what he had to say:
"Richly sweet, roast-toned. Dried black cherry, vanilla, singed mesquite, baker’s chocolate, nutmeg in aroma and cup. Bittersweet structure with round, gentle acidity; velvety mouthfeel. The resonant finish leads with notes of black cherry and nutmeg in the short, rounding to vanilla-toned chocolate in the long, all supported by an inviting undercurrent of smoky aromatic wood notes." - Kenneth Davids, July 2018, Coffeereview.com
Our first coffee from Zambia, this fine non-flavored coffee is a daring medium roast that's full of character. Initially there is a full bodied, syrupy mouth feel, with expressive tones of lilac, tamarind and dark chocolate. The aftertaste is pleasingly sweet, with notes of black cherry and raw honey.
