Monks, are not all your coffees refined? Why, yes, they are. But every so often we get one we just love, one we brain stormed about for a long time because we have a special fondness for one type of bean.

Both the Fair Trade Organic Ethiopian and the Hermits Bold Blend are two of these. The Ethiopian is so good, that it has easily become a monk favorite, one we would drink on a holiday. The Hermits Bold Blend includes a favorite bean from (its a monk secret) a country in south America whose beans can taste spicy, and smell like incense. When this 'secret' bean is roasted darker, but not too dark, it changes from a bright mellow taste to a dark and lively party, what you get in Hermits Bold Blend. Try Them! Either is great at any time of the day and with any dessert especially whipped cream on strawberries or sugary raspberries over a white fluffy cake.
